Sonny Ramadhin was a dominant bowler for the West Indian cricket team in the 1950s  In 1951, he was named one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year, and he was the first of many Indian-born West Indian cricketers. His most well-known performance was in the West Indies.
He was also noted for his ability to spin the ball both ways, and during his playing days, he was notorious for utilising three short-legs and close in fielders on the off-side to put more pressure on the batsmen.
"Ramadhin will always be remembered as one of the great Windies spinners and a unique reference point for decades to come," the ICC said in a statement.
